Strong to severe convection developed as a warm and sultry air mass interacted with several boundaries, including at least two 'pieces' of a cold front, lake breeze boundaries, and several outflow boundaries. While there was very little shear for the storms to work with, MLCAPE values averaged 1500 J/kg. Given light unidirectional flow through at least 12,000 ft, slow moving downpours were the main concern.
