A southwest to northeast band of persistent moderate to at times heavy rainfall developed during the early evening hours on October 15th across portions of Central Angelina and Southeast Nacogdoches Counties in Deep East Texas, as strong overrunning began atop a cool, shallow air mass in wake of a cold frontal passage that moved through earlier in the day.
