Isolated thunderstorms with heavy rain developed across the far northwest portions of La Paz County during the late afternoon and early evening hours on October 3rd. Some storms produced intense rainfall; at 1925MST a trained spotter just south of Lake Havasu measured 1.23 inches of rain in slightly more than one hour.
