Thunderstorms developed across much of the greater Phoenix area during the afternoon and evening hours on October 23rd. Many of the stronger storms formed over the northern half of the metropolitan area, including communities from north Scottsdale and Carefree to Glendale, Peoria and areas north of Sun City West.
