Moisture from Tropical Storm Rosa advanced into Southern California on September 30th and brought rain and thunderstorms to the region. The areas that experienced significant rainfall on the 30th were the San Bernardino Mountains and the Coachella Valley. One person was reported missing in the Coachella Valley during the same time period where heavy rainfall of 1.5-3.5 inches in 2 hours occurred.
