A warm front lifted north across the area through the day on October 2nd, leaving the local area in the warm sector. Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms developed and moved through the region. With wet antecedent conditions from recent rainfall and plenty of available moisture as precipitable water values approached two inches, these showers and storms resulted in flash flooding across portions of northeast New Jersey. Rainfall totals across the region generally ranged from 1-3 inches,
