Moderate flooding continued along the Sabine River in East Texas during the first half of January 2019, in response to widespread heavy rainfall across the basin throughout much of December. This flooding affected areas from Mineola (and Lake Fork Creek) in Wood County, as well as Gladewater and Longview in Gregg County.
