A winter storm affected portions of the Missouri Ozarks as a low pressure system tracked from the Texas Panhandle into northern Arkansas and northern Tennessee. Portions of central Missouri received 6 to 9 inches of snowfall. To the southwest of the heavy snow area, where warmer temperatures resided, rainfall accumulations over one and a half inches preceded the snow over extreme southwest Missouri.
