Coastal Flood — Orange County Coastal, CA

High tides and surf brought large waves and coastal flooding to Southern California. Areas of the San Diego County coastline observed sets as high as 15 ft and significant coastal flooding due to the King Tides. Surf was less extreme in Orange County but received significant coastal flooding during this event. Many water rescues due to the high surf and rip currents, and extensive damage to the Ocean Beach Pier in San Diego County.
