A storm system moved through southern Arizona February 14th and 15th. This brought heavy rainfall to the Rincon and Santa Catalina Mountains and Tucson metro area and caused flooding along the Rillito River, Tanque Verde Creek, Sabino Creek and Rincon Creek. Multiple water rescues had to be performed on the north and east sides of town.|Also, rock slides caused portions of Mount Lemmon Highway to be closed.
