Rapid temperature warm ups occurred across the area coming out of below zero cold that ended January. Record high temperatures occurred on February 4, resulting in almost total snow melt off and ice break up on local rivers. Ice jam flooding occurred on the Cazenovia Creek and Big Sister Creeks in Erie County.
