Low pressure moving along a nearly stationary boundary triggered an area of convection that moved across the region during the evening of May 30th, resulting in isolated flash flooding across the Lower Hudson Valley. Rainfall totals generally ranged from 0.5-1 inch, with the majority of the rain falling in a one to two hour period.
