Flooding continued along the Missouri River throughout the month of April. Although river levels went down during the month of April, compromised levees along the river kept flooding major highways such as US 34, Iowa Highway 2, and Interstate 29. The towns of Hamburg, Pacific Junction, Thurman, and McPaul were flooded or access to the towns was flooded.
