Record high water levels over Lake Erie, coupled with easterly winds of 20 to 30 MPH lead to lakeshore flooding across eastern Monroe, and eastern Wayne County. The water level at Toledo peak at 86 inches at 1536 LST on May 8th, with Fermi and Gibraltar peaking at 78 inches and 76 inches respectively about an hour later.
