Low pressure over the upper lakes drifted east into Quebec dragging a cold front through Ohio during the afternoon of June 5th. Warm moist air ahead of the cold front support severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. A severe thunderstorm watch was in place for much of northern Ohio during the afternoon.
