Flood — Wabasha, MN

A band of showers and thunderstorms moved slowly across parts of southeast Minnesota during the evening of July 5th. These storms dropped between 2 and 6 inches of rain across the central portions of Dodge County into western Olmsted County. The resulting runoff caused flash flooding to occur in Dodge Center (Dodge County) and near Byron (Olmsted County). The main impact was water covered roads.
