Isolated to scattered monsoon thunderstorms developed across portions of La Paz County, in the deserts of southwest Arizona, during the evening hours on September 1st. The thunderstorms produced some of the typical hazards associated with monsoon storms including strong gusty outflow winds, locally heavy rains and flash flooding.
