A second tap of abundant moisture in association with the remnants of Tropical Storm Narda moved northeast across western Mexico into the desert southwest on October 3, 2019. Antecedent conditions from the record rainfall and flash flooding on October 1st set the stage for more significant flooding across southeast New Mexico.
