Scattered to numerous showers and storms developed during the afternoon and evening across central North Carolina in a warm, moist and unstable atmosphere. Multiple storms develop over Wilson, North Carolina and continuously redeveloped across the city. This resulted in multiple reports of flash flooding across the city.
