With a frontal boundary stalled well south of the area, a combination of onshore flow and sea breeze boundaries resulted in the development of isolated convection across portions of southern Connecticut. Several showers and thunderstorms developed and moved across far southeastern New London county, resulting in isolated flash flooding.
