Tropical moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Lorena along with an approaching upper level low led to widespread showers and thunderstorms starting in the early morning hours through most of the day. These storms produced very heavy rainfall and flash flooding in Tucson, Corona de Tucson area, and from Saint David to Sierra Vista.
