A large area of low pressure developing to the west of Arizona advected considerable amounts of moisture into Arizona on November 19th. Widespread showers and a few thunderstorms developed across the central deserts during the evening hours; some of them produced moderate to heavy rains which led to an episode of flash flooding near the town of Gila Bend.
