A powerful Pacific low pressure system moving into the desert southwest resulted in significant rains along with embedded thunderstorms that developed across portions of La Paz County during the evening hours on November 28th. Rainfall was moderate to heavy at times and resulted in flash flooding over portions of the County; as the low slowly moved east the heavy rain and resulting flash flooding persisted into the morning hours on the 29th.
