A frontal zone remained locked in place under southwest flow aloft as a series of mid-level waves moved across the region over a three-day period. Widespread heavy rainfall resulted and amounts reached a two-day record at Pipestone (6.75 inches) as well as totals of nearly 11 inches at Avoca, 9.24 inches at Edgerton, and 6.02 inches at Lake Wilson.
