High astronomical tides produced some very minor coastal flooding around the time of high tide on east coast of MA in the early afternoon. A strong cold front joined forces with a negatively tilting upper level disturbance to produce a narrow line of severe thunderstorms that impacted south coastal RI and MA late in the afternoon.
