Snowmelt water brought flooding on Oak Creek near Wakpala for a short three day time period in early March. The creek rose above the flood stage of 10 feet on March 7th, rising to moderate stage of 14.6 feet on March 9th. The creek then fell back to below flood stage on March 10th.
