A slow-moving storm system tracking from the Ozarks through the Ohio River Valley brought periods of moderate to heavy rain to central Illinois from the evening of April 24th through the early morning of April 26th. Widespread rainfall of 2 to 3 inches was observed, with isolated amounts in excess of 3 inches.
