Well above normal levels of tropical moisture over Martin County allowed an area of heavy showers and thunderstorms to develop during the afternoon and move slowly across an area saturated from excessive rain which fell over previous days. Flooding quickly redeveloped, with water entering into several homes, mainly in the town of Hobe Sound.
