Deeper moisture continued spreading into New Mexico as the center of upper level high pressure over the Four Corners region weakened further on July 19, 2020. Showers and thunderstorms developed during the mid to late afternoon hours along the central mountain chain before drifting southeast into nearby highlands and plains.
