An approaching surface cold front the evening of May 7th allowed for strong southeasterly onshore flow across coastal New Hampshire. This weak onshore flow along with 3 to 4 ft waves coincided with a high astronomical tide to create minor coastal flooding in the Hampton Beach Area.
