Slow-moving afternoon thunderstorms produced some flash flooding and debris flows in Tazewell and Smyth counties. Radar-estimated rainfall of 2 to 4 inches in less than 3 hours occurred near and south of Tannersville in Tazewell County and in far northern Smyth County near Broadford.
