With a warm front north of the area, showers and thunderstorms developed by early afternoon in an airmass with precipitable water values approaching 2 inches. Some locations received 1-2 inches of rain from these storms based on CoCoRaHS observations across the area, resulting in isolated flash flooding. A COOP observer in Shurb Oak reported 1.25 inches of rain.
