Sea breezes merged near the St. Johns river basin over moist and unstable airmass, with cooler mid level temperatures around -7 degC at 500 mb. A passing mid level short wave trough enhanced lift over the sea breeze collision, with very slow storm motion to the ESE less than 10 mph enabling slow moving, heavy rain producing cells.
