With zonal flow over the country and high temperatures in the 90s, multiple weak surface fronts help to produce afternoon and evening storms during diurnal heating. These storms produced strong winds, lightning, and heavy rainfall that resulted in wind damage, flooding, and a structure fire from lightning.
