A generally light-rain, wedge set up for the state of Georgia caused localized flash flooding in the city of Atlanta as rain focused and trained over the area. Rainfall amounts of 2.5 to 5 inches were common in the Cobb, Fulton, DeKalb and Gwinnett counties, with Fulton reporting water entering buildings and a couple water rescues.
