Deep tropical moisture was observed lifting across the mid-Atlantic region ahead of a deep negatively-tilted trough passing east across the Ohio River Valley. Deep moisture convergence was observed across the Piedmont where a southerly low-level jet across the Carolinas brought unseasonably-moist air across the Piedmont region.
