Flood — Clay, WV

Waves of rain, heavy at times, moved across the region during the afternoon of February 26th through the morning of March 1st. Creeks and streams rose out of their banks by the final day of February, resulting in flooded roadways across West Virginia. Several water rescues were conducted in Putnam County on the 28th due to vehicles becoming submerged by rapidly rising water.
