Waves of rain, heavy at times, moved across the region during the afternoon of February 26th through the morning of March 1st. Significant flooding began on the last day of February in Lawrence County, where water flowing along Kentucky Route 3 began to reach adjacent homes as well as the Fallsburg campground was completely submerged underwater.
