A cold front was pushing across eastern KY during the afternoon and evening hours on June 13th. Ahead of this front, a warm and moist airmass provided the perfect environment for thunderstorms to develop. These thunderstorms produced damaging wind gusts and small hail, with numerous reports of trees being blown down as they rolled through.
