An unseasonably cool and wet pattern persisted across New Mexico at the end of June 2021 and resulted in several inches of rainfall across the southeastern portion of the state. With a large trough across the Rockies and easterly flow across much of New Mexico, moisture continued to stream into the area which allowed for daily rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
