A stationary front meandered near the FL-GA state line under a mean layer upper level trough across the eastern U.S. Diurnal instability combined with the sea breezes, outflows, upper level energy and high moisture all under weak steering flow produced locally heavy rainfall and isolated pulse severe storms.
