With an area of high pressure still over the Four Corners area and an abundant amount of moisture across New Mexico, it was another active day with widespread thunderstorms on July 3, 2021. Thunderstorms developed early in the day across the high terrain and then tracked in a south to southwest direction onto lower elevations.
