Significant flash flooding occurred in Perry County. Slow-moving and locally training areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms persisted through the overnight hours. The activity was situated along the leading edge of an outflow boundary, where moderate instability was in place with mixed-layer cape values of 1000 to 1500 j/kg.
