Flash Flood — Schoharie, NY

Heavy rainfall occurred during the late evening hours of the 11th to the early morning hours of the 12th. Two to three inches of rain fell over Schoharie County. The rainfall along with debris blocking a culvert along Gorge Creek resulted in flash flooding in the village of Middleburgh. Several streets were flooded, and work crews had to pump out 15-20 cellars.
