One flash flood occurred on Coal Creek during the early morning hours. A nearby spotter measured 5 inches of rainfall during the event. In the next event, a flash flood reportedly produced 3 feet of running water. The floodwaters moved several vehicles along with some heavy equipment. Later in the day, severe thunderstorms produced large hail, damaging winds and flash flooding over portions of Adams and Weld counties.
