A warm and humid airmass remained stagnant over Central New York on this day. A weak upper level disturbance moved through the region, triggering heavy rain producing thunderstorms. Steering winds were very weak, therefore, thunderstorms lingered over the same areas resulting in urban and small stream flash flooding.
