Flash Flood — Duval, TX

The multi-day heavy rain event across the Coastal Bend continued on the 8th as the low pressure system remained nearly stationary. Bands of showers and thunderstorms produced heavy rainfall that caused flash flooding over much of San Patricio and Nueces mainly during the morning. Four day total rainfall amounts ranged from 10 to 15 inches from Nueces County northward to Victoria with a maximum amount of 18 inches near Rockport.
