Flash Flood — Logan, KS

During the afternoon strong to severe thunderstorms formed over Northwest Kansas. Wind gusts of 60 MPH were reported near Leoti. Later in the afternoon hail up to golf ball size was reported in the Angelus and Menlo area. Prolonged rainfall north of Russell Springs caused water to flow over Highway 25 that was deep enough traffic had to be diverted.
