A lingering mesoscale convective vortex over northwest Ohio that is acting as a trigger for developing thunderstorms on its eastern flank. 850-300mb mean steering flow, suggested at storm motion had the potential to slow down and create flash flooding in regions downstream (i.e. western PA).
