Flash Flood — Sequatchie, TN

A deep 500 MB low over the lower Mississippi Valley, and associated surface low that was nearly stationary beneath it, produced a humid tropical air mass over the area. Convection anchored over the southern Plateau and produced flash flooding in areas that flooded just a few weeks earlier.
